I had a mixed experience at Riad Casa Lalla. While the friendly staff and magical location in the Medina stood out, I faced a serious issue with a sewer odor in my room that disrupted my stay. The lively music from the restaurant was also quite loud, which made it hard for my child to sleep. Overall, the cleanliness and service were commendable, but the noise and odor were significant downsides.

The room was clean but had a distinct sewer smell that was unbearable at night. The decor was nice, but the space felt cramped and dark at times.

The Riad is tucked away in a quiet area, close to the main square, but accessing it involves navigating through small alleys, which felt a bit uncomfortable at night.

The food was fantastic, and the in-house restaurant offered a great dining experience. However, the live music could get quite loud, particularly during dinner.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Riad Casa Lalla. While the location was great, close to the main square but tucked away for a bit of peace, I had some issues with the service and the room. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, but the uneven experience left me a bit disappointed.

Rooms

The room had a charming traditional style, but I noticed it lacked windows, which made it feel a bit closed off. It wasn't an issue for me, but I can see how it might surprise someone expecting something different.
Service

The staff were friendly and helpful, but there were moments when communication fell short, leading to some frustrating situations.

My stay at Riad Casa Lalla was quite disappointing, mainly due to issues with the rooms and service. The location was charming, tucked away from the tourist hustle, but I encountered several problems that overshadowed the positives. While the staff was friendly and the atmosphere cozy, I wouldn't recommend this riad given my experience.

Rooms

The room I stayed in had a strong sewer odor, which was troubling. Although the staff was friendly, they didn't address the issue until I insisted. It ruined my comfort during the stay.
Service

The service was friendly but inadequate in managing the problems with the room. I felt ignored when I raised my concerns about the sewer smell.
Location

The location was tucked away in the souks, a short walk from the main square, which I appreciated for its quietness. However, navigating the winding alleys made me feel a bit uneasy at night.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfasts offered, which were tasty despite not being extravagant. It was a nice start to my day, though the noise from the restaurant was occasionally bothersome.

The facilities seemed basic and in need of improvement. While I appreciated the potential for nice amenities, they didn’t fully deliver on my expectations.

I had a nice stay at Riad Casa Lalla, nestled in the heart of the Medina. The location struck a nice balance between the bustling commercial area and a peaceful retreat. The rooms were clean and reflected traditional Moroccan charm, but the bathrooms felt a bit enclosed. The service was another standout, with friendly staff eager to assist.

Rooms

My room was a Superior Double Room, quite cozy and traditional. However, I found it a bit dark and small compared to other places I've stayed in Morocco. The shower pressure was great, which I truly appreciated.
Service

The staff provided really good service. They arranged everything I needed, from transport to recommendations on local culture. Each team member was welcoming and attentive.

I had a mixed experience at Casa Lalla. The riad's design was charming and the atmosphere felt like a retreat from the busy Marrakech streets. but there were some significant issues with the room. The persistent sewer odor really dampened the stay, and the noise from live music each night made rest difficult. While the food was enjoyable and the staff warm, the inconvenient details made it hard to fully relax.
